Exchanges/Returns/Replacements

Our success depends on returning customers, and our growth is achieved through positive word of mouth. Our goal is to make your experience with GMP as effortless as possible so that the next time you need parts, you turn to us first.

We want you to keep coming back, so if you have a problem with an item you buy from GMP, we've made solving it as easy as 1, 2, 3...


Exchanges

You can order from GMP with confidence, knowing that if what you ordered isn't what you need, we are happy to exchange it for another item from our inventory.

  1. Contact us - Contact one of our representatives by phone or by email within 30 days of the date the item was shipped, and we will issue you a Return Materials Authorization (RMA). This form allows us to quickly and correctly identify your item when it returns to us so that your exchange can be processed promptly.
  2. Inspect - Make sure that the item has not been damaged. We cannot offer exchanges, returns, or refunds on items that have been used, installed, or damaged in any way.
  3. Ship the item - Make sure that the RMA is included with the packaging of the item. If an item is returned to us without an RMA, either your exchange will not be processed, or an additional 20% processing fee will be deducted from any refund or exchange that you may be entitled to.

Once we receive your package, we will contact you to complete the exchange. You may be charged shipping for the item you are receiving in exchange.


Returns

We understand that in order to avoid delays, you sometimes have to order parts before you are certain you will need them. At Global Machine Parts, we want you to have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your money will not have been wasted if you decide you no longer require an item.

This form allows us to quickly and correctly identify your item when it returns to us, so that your return can be processed promptly.

All Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.


Replacements

A company is only as good as its product, and at Global Machine Parts, we are proud to stand behind the quality of the parts we offer. Your satisfaction is important to us, and should you receive a damaged or defective part, you can rely on us to replace it as quickly as possible.

  1. Document - Take photos of the part, including its packaging. We may ask you to make these photos available to us in order to determine the nature and source of the damage.
  2. Contact us - Contact one of your representatives by phone or by email within 30 days of the date the item was shipped (unless it was damaged in transit; see sidebar), and we will issue you a Return Materials Authorization (RMA). This form allows us to quickly and correctly identify your item when it returns to us, so that your replacement can be processed promptly.
  3. Ship the item - Make sure that the RMA is included with the packaging of the item. If an item is returned to us without an RMA, either your return will not be processed.

Once we receive your item, a replacement will be shipped to you at no cost.


ADDITIONAL NOTES

Due to fluctuating prices and availability of many items, we may substitute a refund/exchange/replacement. 

RMAs cannot be issued more than 30 days after an item has shipped from our facility.

Any part we receive that cannot be exchanged, returned, or replaced will be, upon request, shipped back to the customer at customer's expense.

Per industry standard practice, bearing and electrical components cannot be exchanged, returned or replaced.
